POR JAI DEE recently had the opportunity to present our “Leaves for PM2.5 Reduction” project to Ms. Piyarat Tiyapairat following her visit to Mae Ngad Somboonchon Dam in Chiang Mai to monitor water management and listen to local farmers’ concerns.

What we hope to share is a simple idea — that “fallen leaves,” often seen as worthless waste, can actually become an opportunity to reduce open burning, lower air pollution, create income for communities, and help bring clean air back to the people we love.

As PM2.5 continues to affect Thailand every year, we believe sustainable solutions must begin by creating value from agricultural waste and leaves within local communities, making “no burning” a realistic and practical choice.

This may only be a small beginning, but we truly hope this idea can one day grow into another meaningful solution for tackling PM2.5 in Thailand
